Sebastian Camacho and Javier Snieper are two normal and very healthy schoolboys who are suddenly bitten by the Cocos Island virus. The two teenagers, supported by a fortuitous find, have no peace of mind until they organize the long trip to the island. They go in the company of their class bully and a nerdy girl who has an answer for just about everything, plus an open-minded but firm teacher. They are joined, in a suspicious, very suspicious way, by a bad-guy park ranger who turns out to be the key to understanding the past and present of the island and, in turn, its future.
With En busca del gran tesoro, a short novel by award-winning writer Óscar Núñez Olivas, the publishing house La Jirafa y Yo takes its efforts to get children and young people hooked on reading to a new level.
