Gaspar, a living fossil

$8

The gaspar fish is rare.

Methuselah of the oceans, the gaspar is a true living fossil, with tens of millions of years of existence and without many changes in the shape of its body. It resembles crocodiles and turtles, whose design has remained almost unchanged over time. Pejelagarto is sometimes called Pejelagarto.

In Costa Rica he is found in Caño Negro, alive and kicking. It is well liked by the inhabitants of that area. Be careful not to let it become extinct!

We do not know where the name Gaspar comes from. What we do know is that his mini-autobiography, that fish dictated to Anne Señol, is very entertaining. And even more so with the joyful illustrations of Adián González.
