What came out was something else, another story that recounts -in the form of a father/son dialogue- the sensation that my own encounter with the little tailor provoked in me... brave? No way! Today, when there is so much talk about the loss of values, I hope that my story makes us understand that it is good that many of those old (and not so noble) values are being lost and that, with the children and young people of today, we are building a better humanity. The cicada (copy)

$8
In many parts of the world people eat cicadas, but at La Jirafa y Yo we prefer to present this seductive little animal under the lens of Anne Señol and Adián González. The cicada sings and sings and we love its deafening call. She asks us to get to know her better and that is why she is now included in the Zoorprendentes collection of La Jirafa y Yo publishing house.

The micro-stories included in this book begin with a game of chess and end with a game of color discovery. Throughout its pages, humans, androids, extraterrestrials, computers, and artificially created beings meet and misencounter each other in the most common or unexpected places, whether in a darkened laboratory, on the surface of the planet of the three sunrises, in seas of pure methane, in spaceships heading for unimaginable destinations, or simply in the memory of pasts that refuse to disappear.
